"A Cup of Coffee" is a song written by Katy Perry, Glen Ballard, and Matt Thiessen. The song serves as a bonus track on the first Japanese release One of the Boys, as well as a limited Wal-Mart exclusive with an order of the digital album. The song's recording took place during the same sessions as those for (A) Katy Perry. On June 20, 2023, Perry released a 15th anniversary edition of One of the Boys that included a remastered version of "A Cup of Coffee" along with "I Think I'm Ready"
The song received a music video that was included in a DVD promo for Perry in 2005. A full video hasn't been released, but a short teaser was uploaded to YouTube. The video takes place in Malibu, California.
