Camp Katy is the second extended play by Katy Perry. Is a six-song digital compilation album released on October 15, 2020, by Capitol Records. It was part of a series of four compilation EPs released to promote her sixth studio album, Smile. She announced the EP on her instagram account.[1]
The EP is themed around the concept of "camp," which in fashion and art refers to an exaggerated, theatrical style often associated with female pop singers. The included tracks were chosen to reflect this aesthetic. In social media and discussions about Katy's style, "camp" is a common term critics and fans use to describe her flamboyant and playful aesthetic, with Vogue and Rolling Stone even calling her the "Queen of Camp".
