The Katy Perry Wiki

Kathy Beth Terry is a fictional character and alter-ego created by Katy Perry during the promotional campaign for "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)". Terry is the main character for the single's music video, which revolves around a party she throws at her house while her parents are away. The bio for her official parody account reads "I'm 13 and in the 8th grade. I like Sudoku puzzles, the solar system, high-school science fairs, Skip-It, Weenie Babies and LOVE JTT!". Perry released several v-logs as Terry, which are posted on her official VEVO account as well as her official Funny or Die account.

Terry has made several appearances. She attended the Teen Choice Awards 2010 (portrayed by Perry) and during the the documentary concert film, Katy Perry: Part of Me. In the latter, she was portrayed by Angela Hudson during the live performance of "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)". In 2017, Kathy Beth Terry tweeted for the first time since the Teenage Dream era about going to the fictional amusement park, Oblivia, which was the setting for the music video to "Chained to the Rhythm". Although it was speculated that Terry would make a cameo in the video, she was not present. Later the same year, Terry made a brief appearance towards the end of the music video to "Swish Swish" (portrayed by someone else) where she cheered for Perry scoring slam dunks.
